2021 (P) Philadelphia Mint Emergency Production Silver American Eagle (SAE) Type 1 Heraldic Eagle Reverse MS69 First Day of Issue PCGS Michael Reagan
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down West Point Mint production of Silver American Eagles - other minting facilities continue to produce SAEs that historically, have not. These coins do not have a physical mint-mark "P" designation but are certified by PCGS to be "Emergency Production" SAEs from the Philadelphia Mint by the monster box having original 'Philadelphia' mint straps still attached and delivered directly to the PCGS certification facility in tact. In turn, this makes these silver eagles more rare and collectible.
1 Troy Ounce of .999 (99.9%) Fine Silver with a $1 face value backed by the US Government.
This SAE is Certified by PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) to be Mint State 70 quality.
